Terms of Service

1. The service

Jakub Zarzeczny (“we”, “us”, “the operator”) provides Reel to Recipe, a web application that lets adults submit a public Instagram Reel URL so that an automated pipeline can produce a structured recipe for the user’s personal library.

These Terms form the contract for that electronic service. Using the service, creating an account, or buying credits means you agree to the current version of these Terms and the Privacy Notice.

2. Age and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service. The service is not directed to children. By accepting these Terms you confirm that you are 18 or older and that you will not submit information about a child.

3. Account rules

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate sign-in information and keep it current. We may refuse, suspend, or close an account that we reasonably believe is used in breach of these Terms or applicable law.

4. URLs and content you submit

You warrant that you have the right to submit each URL and to request that we process the linked public content on your behalf for your personal library. You must not submit links to content you do not have rights to use, private content, unlawful content, or content that infringes another person’s rights.

Submitting a URL is your request that we process that content for you. You remain responsible for the legality of that request. We may refuse, disable, or remove content that appears unlawful or that is the subject of a valid complaint.

5. AI output and food safety

Recipes are produced by automated systems and can be incomplete, inaccurate, or invented, including ingredients, allergens, quantities, times, and temperatures. Output is not professional, medical, dietary, or food-safety advice.

You are solely responsible for verifying ingredients (including allergens), steps, and safe cooking temperatures against the source reel and against authoritative food-safety guidance before you cook or serve food. Use a food thermometer. Cross-check the original reel. You assume all cooking, allergen, and reliance risk to the maximum extent permitted by law.

6. Prepaid credits

Paid features use prepaid credit packs priced in US dollars on the credits page. Credits never expire while your account remains open. One credit is used when you first add a recipe to your library.

Purchases are final except where the law gives you a non-waivable right and except the documented automatic credit return when an extraction ends in a failed terminal state. Unused credits are not cashed out or refunded if you delete your account.

Applicable tax may be calculated and added on the hosted payment page. We do not collect card numbers on our own pages. Payment is processed by Stripe.

7. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, scrape it, use it to process content you lack rights to, or use it for anything unlawful. We may disable shared recipes after a valid abuse or copyright notice.

8. Limitation of liability

The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for cooking outcomes, allergen exposure, foodborne illness, reliance on AI output, third-party platform changes, or loss of unused credits on deletion. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Governing law and courts

These Terms are governed by the law of Poland. Polish courts have jurisdiction, unless a mandatory consumer-protection rule gives you a different forum.

10. Formation and termination

The contract is formed when you accept these Terms (and the Privacy Notice) and create or continue using an account. You may terminate by deleting your account. We may terminate or suspend access for breach. After deletion, personal library data is erased as described in the Privacy Notice; unused credits are forfeited; shared recipes derived from public URLs may remain without your personal association.

11. Complaints

To complain about the service, email contact@reel-to-recipe.com with your account email, a description of the issue, and any relevant dates. We acknowledge complaints within 5 business days and aim to provide a substantive response within 14 business days.

To report abuse or copyright concerns about a shared recipe, email contact@reel-to-recipe.com. Describe the content, the URL or recipe if known, and why you believe it should be disabled. We aim to acknowledge valid notices within 48 hours and may disable the reported shared recipe.
